It seems almost like a second thought. It reads more like a collection of field notes than a book. Als the title is a bit misleading because while it's more about the Kamba tribe, there are other tribes in The Akamba are skilled in iron working and in the manufacture of spears. The last named tribe is one of the most interesting in British East Africa.
